Extrusion Expression + Test Render + Problem
subCurve2.maxValue = Main_Ctrl.translateX/110; subCurve2.minValue = Main_Ctrl.translateY/10.1; |
My First Test Render
Currently, it seems my expressions went out of hand. So, I have to use "Set Driven Keys" for Extrusions.

Expressions Time!
I used if (frame >= ##) expression. Still won't work. So, I have to translate my Main control in Y-axis halfway through the animation.
Same as the previous expressions, the models translates up too fast. I have to tone it down using Main_Ctrl.translateY*0.35;

The Beginning
I have to model the buildings out, parts by parts. It is because that I can easily access to each of them in the future for expressions.
I use Game of Thrones reference for this.
I'm building out some main components out first. Some of them can be duplicate afterwards.
The buildings starting to come out |
-insert GoT theme song- |
Like the gears, I can duplicate them. |

Brainstorming
I have 2 ideas for the assignment.
Idea #01
Chamber of Secrets Door
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dk9p86Gqac
Idea #02
Game of Thrones Opening (Qarth)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-ZZ7HlNQgk
*UPDATE (22nd July): Idea #02 is selected. Advise from Mr Leong was to use Driven keys and build the parts separately (With proper controls).*
